Following Pavoni’s steps...
The Pavonians is a religious family composed of priests and lay brothers, whose purpose is to continue the charism and the passion for education of their founder, Blessed Pavoni. Following his steps, the Pavonians strive to offer a testimony of evangelical and brotherly life, living in communities characterized by a simple and friendly family spirit, and in communion and dialogue with the faithful.
The Pavonians’ mission is principally intended for education of the youth, especially for those who are in economical difficulties.
The Pavonians are involved in printing apostolate, pastoral activities, and technical and vocational formation of the youth. All of these activities are conducted in cooperation with the local Church. The printing apostolate, is realized through the publishing house “Ancora”, one of the most illustrious in Italy, the pastoral activities include a particular care also for the deaf.
Currently, the Pavonian Congregation is present in 34 communities in Europe (Italy and Spain), Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico), Africa (Eritrea) and in Asia (The Philippines).
